For Several years, I used solely Linux, if fit my needs and provided everything I needed at the time, it took me a bit more time to get things done from time to time, but it served my needs well, then I bought a laptop, and I was suddenly exposed to Windows again, after a long break, it was muck like finding an old friend again after a long break.
The Windows World, offers a complete system, there is a solution for every problem, it is in essence a microculture, and for roughly three years, I was a Linux evangelist, I railed on monopoly, and evil, and sundry things..
The Core issue with Linux is too many choices, I dont have time to dick around with stuff anymore, for me now, time is money and right now my time of worth roughly 25 dollars an hour, it takes less time for me to make windows work for me, over time, then it does Linux.
