Little Brother

I added a new friend of LJ tonight, his name is tauvix, on his LJ I found a post about a Cory Doctorow Novel, called Little Brother..

So I went to his website and read it, and promptly spent the next two hours reading it, I was a little teary eyed at the end, but it does have a hopeful if not happy ending.

If you dont believe your Government can take your rights away, the ones given to us by the framers of the constitution, your not paying attention, there is nothing, and I mean nothing stopping the government from coming to your house, declaring you an enemy combatant, and whisking you away to some unknown corner of the earth, they dont need proof, or a warrant, just the will to do so.

I firmly believe that we are one terrorist attack from a police state, and it is the duty of every American, to watch out and prevent that from happening, once our rights are gone, nothing short of a revolution will get them back... anyhow, the story is linked below.. Please, Please Read it.
